A: It isn't our responsibility to teach anyone "what they're doing wrong". If someone genuinely wants to learn, they've got an entire internet at their fingertips with which to educate themselves. If they don't want to learn, all the teachers in the world can't make them learn. After all, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it a feminist! Sometimes you want to educate, teach, explain. If that's the case, more power to you! But sometimes you want time out where nothing is expected of you. You want time to sit down, put your feet up, and have a conversation without having to explain concepts or be talked over or shouted down. That's what Breathing Room is for - it's room to breathe.
