There are those who may be dismayed to find out that this board service requires members to choose either male or female in order to register. This is a feature of the boards, and unfortunately there is no way to add additional gender options or disable the question entirely. However, there is an option to hide this information if you wish to do so:
A reminder that at Breathing Room we do not believe in or support the idea of a gender binary. We apologize for the limitations of the software available but hope that this won't impact your enjoyment of the space too much.
- Go to "Profile" in the bar under the banner.
- Click the "Edit Profile" button, near the top right.
- Click the "Privacy" tab.
- Set "Gender Visibility" to "No".
